Terms of Service
Last updated September 30, 2026
These terms cover your use of Studmade at studmade.app. By using Studmade you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
What Studmade does
You upload a photo and Studmade generates a brick model from it, with a parts list and step-by-step instructions. Models are generated automatically. Results vary with the photo, and we can't promise that every model will look exactly like its subject or be structurally sound when you build it.
Your account
You can use Studmade without an account, and sign in with an email link or Google to keep your builds. Keep access to your email and Google account secure; you're responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 13 to use Studmade, and if you're under 18 you need a parent or guardian's permission, and they should handle any payment.
Your photos and builds
You keep ownership of the photos you upload. You give us permission to store and process them, and the models made from them, so we can provide the service to you. If you choose to share a build publicly, you also give us permission to display that build, and the source photo only if you separately choose to share it, until you stop sharing it or delete it.
Only upload photos you have the right to use. Don't upload anything that:
- you don't own or have permission to use;
- shows another person without their consent;
- is illegal, sexually explicit, hateful, or violent; or
- infringes someone else's trademark, copyright or privacy.
We may remove content or suspend access that breaks these rules.
Fair use
There are daily build limits, and we may pause new builds when the service is busy. Don't try to get around limits, scrape the site, interfere with how it runs, or access other people's builds.
Payments
Previews are free for the tiers that offer them. Paid exports are one-time purchases at the price shown at checkout, processed by Stripe. Once paid, the export is yours to download. If a paid export fails or doesn't work, email us within 30 days and we'll fix it or refund you.
Bricks and trademarks
Studmade gives you instructions and a parts list; it doesn't sell bricks. LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group, which does not sponsor, authorize or endorse Studmade. Parts lists refer to standard parts for compatibility only.
Our service
Studmade's software, design and branding belong to us. The instructions and parts lists we generate for you are yours to use for your own builds, including sharing photos of what you built.
No warranty
Studmade is provided “as is”. We work to keep it running and accurate, but we don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or that a generated model will meet your expectations. Small parts are a choking hazard; keep bricks away from young children.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.
Ending things
You can stop using Studmade and ask us to delete your data at any time. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms. We may change or discontinue features, and we'll give reasonable notice before discontinuing anything you've paid for.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Indiana, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to bring it where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll tell you on the site before they apply. Continuing to use Studmade after that means you accept the new terms.
